Working with Edify
What types of businesses does Edify work with?
Edify works across ecommerce and lead-generation businesses. The strongest fit is generally businesses with established growth ambitions and meaningful paid media investment, often around $30,000 or more per month, although smaller budgets can still be discussed where the opportunity and fit make sense.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?
Yes. Edify is based in Rose Bay in Sydney and works with businesses across Australia and internationally. Most engagements run remotely, with in-person meetings where they are useful and practical.
Can you work alongside an internal marketing team?
Yes, and that is a common arrangement. Edify can lead paid media entirely, or work as the senior specialist alongside an in-house team that handles creative, content, email or web.
Can you work with other agencies and creative partners?
Yes. Edify can work alongside creative, web, PR, content and other specialist partners where that gives the client a better result. Client performance comes first, so the aim is to use the right expertise rather than force everything through one provider. Ed’s agency experience also means he has a strong sense of what good specialist work should look like and can help keep the different partners aligned around the commercial goal.
How quickly can we get started?
After an initial conversation and a review of your accounts and data, onboarding is usually straightforward. Timing depends on account access, tracking readiness and current commitments, and Ed will give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
Channels & capabilities
Which paid media channels does Edify manage?
Paid search including Google Ads, Shopping and Microsoft Advertising; paid social across Meta, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn; and programmatic display and digital video. Organic search and AI search visibility are also covered where they support the wider acquisition strategy.
Does Edify work with ecommerce businesses?
Yes, and ecommerce is a preferred fit. The work usually spans Shopping and feed management, paid search, paid social and remarketing, with the focus on customer acquisition cost, channel contribution and profitability rather than platform-reported return alone.
Can Edify manage lead-generation campaigns?
Yes. Lead generation is a strong fit, particularly where lead quality matters more than lead volume. Wherever your CRM allows it, campaigns are optimised against qualified outcomes rather than form submissions.
Does Edify manage programmatic advertising?
Yes, and it is one of the areas Ed has most experience in. That covers programmatic display, digital video, audience targeting, retargeting and access to premium and local publisher inventory, planned alongside search and social rather than separately.
Can Edify help businesses expand internationally?
Yes. Ed's experience spans the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and wider APAC. International work typically includes market research, local media strategy, localisation and transcreation, with each market given its own targets and reporting.
Strategy & transparency
How does Edify approach reporting and transparency?
You keep ownership of your accounts and data, with full access throughout. Reporting shows where the investment went, what changed and what the result was, with written commentary rather than an unexplained dashboard. Results that did not work are reported as plainly as the ones that did.
Do I need to know which advertising channels I need before contacting you?
No. Channel selection should come after understanding the commercial objective, the audience, the economics and the data you already have. Arriving with a clear view of the business problem is far more useful than arriving with a channel list.
